Neighbors, DHS share conflicting stories on federal agent shooting in north Minneapolis

Neighbors are on edge after a man was shot during an encounter involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a north Minneapolis neighborhood Wednesday night.

“I’m scared,” the neighbor told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in Spanish, saying the incident has left her shaken and fearful in her own home.

A Facebook Live video shared by Minnesota State Sen. Erin Maye Quade is now offering new insight into what may have happened moments before the shooting.

The video captures tense moments inside the home as a woman speaks with a 911 dispatcher. In the recording, the woman tells the dispatcher in Spanish that her husband had been chased by ICE agents for approximately 30 minutes. She claims ICE agents struck her husband’s vehicle and that after he made it home and ran inside, agents shot through the door, hitting him in the leg.

Don't know if this was already posted but this is local reporting showing that ICE is probably lying about their 2nd shooting in Minneapolis.
