CHICO, Calif. - Audrey Denney has announced her candidacy for the special election in California's First Congressional District.

Denney says that she aims to bring consistent, people-first leadership to Northern California, ensuring the region has a voice in Washington.

Denney, who has lived and worked in Northern California for 20 years, expressed her commitment to the community.

“For 20 years, I’ve lived and worked in Northern California,” Denney said. “I’ve stood with families through wildfires and recovery, healthcare closures and crises, economic uncertainty, and rural neglect. I’ve never believed in walking away when things get tough, and I’m not about to start now.”
