Like many of those around the president, Lauder’s policy suggestions appear to intersect with his business interests. As Trump has ratcheted up his threats to seize Greenland, Lauder has acquired commercial holdings there. Lauder is also part of the consortium whose desire to access Ukrainian minerals appears to have spurred Trump to demand a share of the war-torn country’s resources.

Oddly enough, I can’t help thinking a boycott would be a lot more satisfying if it was against something I actually patronized… I don’t feel like I’m helping much to say, “Yeah, I never buy that and now I never will.”

He has known Trump for 60 years.

Estée Lauder's odious son was the one who first drilled the idea of owning Greenland in Trump's head.
He is bullying for more business of his in Greenland and not in a way that would be fair to the locals.

Paul Singer donated million to Trump's PAC. Then he bought Venezuela's Citgo Texas+Louisiana refineries. Then Trump deposed Maduro to force Venezuela to export crude oil to Singer's new refineries.
