He had "coercion" by NY prosecutors Letitia James and Alvin Bragg to testify against Trump?

Really?

While I recognize the claims don't look good, I wonder nonetheless . . . . .

Not that I'm a friend or family member of Cohen.

Just stay with me.

Cohen HATED Trump with a purple passion for not only putting him in jail, but to extend his term for writing a book about their past association.

I've listened to scores of Cohen's videos.

If we're talking "coercion", I'd say it was on Trump's part.

The only thing that I can think of to make Cohen do a 180 that would risk his credibility against Trump is that Trump somehow convinced him that the life/lives of his daughter and/or his wife were in danger if he didn't (excuse the pun) a "MEA CULPA" on Trump.

Trump told him what to say. Notice this news appeared on Trump-friendly, Fox News and the New York Post. Cohen still is combative against Fox.

What would motivate Cohen to say all this?

I'm an attorney and I understand how people are leaned upon to change their story.

PLUS, he's risking a trial with conviction for perjury if this goes further. If this is a Trump-Miller-Giuliani plan, it's forcing Cohen to put himself back in jail.

Seems to me that Cohen is the small target and what Trump really wants is to exact "retribution" against James and Bragg. Make them lose their positions and possibly their law licenses.

I remain skeptical and dubious.

3. It would be the same type of coercion typically used by prosecutors...

...they threaten to prosecute a family member (if possible). Or they stack charges where you're fight a dozen allegations, any of which can put you in prison for a decade or more. Or they decide even if they can't convict you, they'll send you to the poorhouse as you pay for your defense This happens every day.

8. I have never really trusted Cohen, he was pretty close to Trump and I suspect

knows a lot about Trump's relationship and deeds with Epstein and may himself indulged. There is something about him, I just don't trust. I have never watched his videos or him on MTN.

What does he know? Was he lying then or lying now? It appears they never took him seriously then.

Watch this interview with Tara Palmeri from August. He lied constantly and was clearly very defensive about her questions. He's lying about everything now. I assume he's either afraid that Trump is going to murder him or he knows he's in a shitload of legal trouble and will need a Trump pardon. Not a single word that comes out of his mouth should be believed at this point.

Cohen has always been a mixed bag. There are times when I have found him worth listening to. But I keep in mind that he did not stop his role as "mobster's lawyer" on his own. The mobster dropped him.

Prosecuting attornies attempt to present evidence in a trial in the manner that fits the charges. This is neither new nor unique. Cohen's comments were oddly off-tune. However, he has never been someone I mistook for being solid.

She asked COHEN a year ago about the minor who sued over rape by EPSTEIN *and* KRASNOV, then disappeared and he told her he knew absolutely nothing about KRASNOV's involvement with EPSTEIN. She later "broke" him to admit about another case with a different victim and lawyer.
