5. Lawrence O'Donnell keeps insisting that Trump isn't serious about acquiring Greenland,

and he's just using all the commotion as a smokescreen for the withholding of the Epstein files. I almost always agree with O'Donnell but this time I think he's dead wrong. Greenland is a big deal, even an obsession for Trump, like the Nobel Peace Prize which he's still has such a big mad about not getting (even though he extorted Machado's medal and gave her nothing in return) that he's tariffing all the countries who have sent troops to Greenland to defend it, especially Norway, whose government has nothing to do with the NPP. He has a huge hard-on for getting Greenland, Epstein files notwithstanding, and destroying NATO in the process is BFF Putin's wet dream. This is serious. The Epstein files must be released, obviously, but Greenland isn't just a diversion.

I have spent some time in Canada and have several Canadian friends. They have often messaged me these last 9 years about Trump expressing their concern and looking for me to ease it. My response has been the same, "You absolutely should be worried about trump, he absolutely is a threat to your country's independence and the Canadian way of life." Often they poo pooed me at the start, but slowly they have grown more alarmed. Now it's full panic, "Is this for real John? Should we be afraid?"

Yes, Trump doesn't view Canada any differently than he views Yemen, Iran, or Venezuela. If he thinks he can get away with something that will enrich him or help him in some other way, he's going to do it. So in short, Canada needs to build their military up so that military action can be responded to severely, that's the only thing Trump understands, force.
