but you can bet other people who watched who the helpers were did learn something, that good people are always out there trying to help and those good people come from all the human variations.

The other thing about violent assholes is that even when they skate on technicalities or are pardoned, they generally end up right back in prison sooner rather than later. It's just a shame that someone else has to get hurt to make that happen.
