It came after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney received a standing ovation for a speech where he issued his own warning about the world order.
The president’s attack on the U.S. neighbor came as he fiercely criticized close allies and praised longtime U.S. adversaries during a rambling address in Switzerland.
“Canada gets a lot of freebies from us, by the way,” Trump said. “They should be grateful also, but they’re not.”
“They should be grateful to us. Canada. Canada lives because of the United States,” Trump complained. “Remember that, Mark, next time you make your statements.”

I will be eager to listen to an extended version of this talk to hear if there was any audible reaction to any of the lunacy erupting from that podium.
I had an experience early in my career where a boss was assigned to my division. He came in and seemed kind of normal, but with each passing day we realized the guy was losing it mentally. One day he called all 115 of us into a common area because he had something to say. He proceeded to read a speech that turned out to be about 40 pages long. It was fucking insane, and the vibe in the room went from "Why are we here?" to "Did he say what I think he said?" to "Should be we calling 911?"
But instead, we all just sat there in the proverbial "stunned silence" until it was over and then nobody said a word as they rolled eyes and slipped back to their cubicles. The next day that guy was gone, and we leaned a week later that he was in a mental hospital.
Unfortunately, it seems that nobody has the power to get this MFer to a hospital and out of the Presidency. You would think some of the people in that room would have the ability to get Trump out of the way.
