(8,305 posts)ICE respected him and made efforts to help him leave.
Yet, the white angry guy was NOT on the side of ICE. He yells at ICE to get out of my city!
He is just a random guy and he became a protester in the moment. Yes!!
The owner of Speedway instantly becomes a protester! Yes!!
This is what democracy looks like!

(1,319 posts)How a person at a gas station (not sure if its the owner or just an employee) can do the right thing, but corporations like Target and Home Depot just allow ICE to wander around hauling employees away. I dont think Target even issued a statement condemning what tgeu did to that teen that was a US citizen.

It's just a game of intimidation and violence and apparently Congress is more than happy to keep funding them

(2,367 posts)ICE are not police. They have no police powers. They have no authority to enforce any laws other than as pertains to JUDICIAL warrants naming specific people. If they are hanging around intimidating people with their guns and police impersonation costumes, that is a felony assault. Call the real police on them. Demand to press assault charges.

(2,367 posts)illegally impersonating police officers. ICE is not police. They don't have general police powers. They have no authority to enforce any laws except pertinent to specific JUDICIAL warrants having to do with immigration. By wearing fake police uniforms, they are violating Minnesota Statutes 626.863 and should be arrested on the spot. And by displaying guns in a threatening way, that is a felony assault.

(14,734 posts)He's like whatshisname: if there's a camera, he's ready to perform. His Nazi-inspired coat the other day was a classic example of him begging to be on camera. Just a preening, anarchistic weak little man trying to act like a thug.
