BREAKING: Former Uvalde CISD officer Adrian Gonzales found not guilty on all counts in school shooting trial.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A Nueces County jury returned a not guilty verdict on all 29 counts of child endangerment in the trial of former Uvalde CISD officer Adrian Gonzales.

The trial has highlighted the intense scrutiny on law enforcement's duty to protect children, especially in school settings.

The defense portrayed Gonzales as a scapegoat, arguing that he was unfairly targeted by the government to take the fall for the broader failures of the police response.

"The power of the state has decided that he has to pay for the failures of that day," defense attorney Jason Goss said.

Born and raised down there. Those poor victims will never know justice because the good ole boys club is very active. I don't blame the jurors.

The case presented by the DA was a farce. She's a light weight at best, and was totally outgunned by Nico LaHood - who was the Bexar County District Attorney and ran as a Democrat in Republican skin. All manipulated, I'm certain.

In my book, there are 22 victims because I count Joe who was Irma's husband and died shortly after the shooting from a heart attack. The victim's families are despised down there for not just "moving on".

It all disgusts the hell out of me.
