Europe is a beautiful but fragmented kaleidoscope of small and middle powers, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during his speech at Davos, as he criticised the bloc of looking lost.
Instead of taking the lead in defending freedom worldwide, especially when Americas focus shifts elsewhere, Europe looks lost trying to convince the US president to change, but he will not change.

(10,211 posts)Donald Trump is a narcissistic egomaniac. He wont change. The European leaders trying to work with him are dealing with an irresponsible toddler in an adults body.
I hate saying this, but European leaders should start acting like theyre on their own and start thinking of the Republican Party like a hostile foreign political entity and its donors like Al Quaeda bank-rollers.
