Report from DC

Just got off the phone with my daughter who lives on Capitol Hill (NE DC) and who tried to get to her office in NW DC.

-- Van loads of National Guardsmen are unloading in various spots around town.

-- Some bunch called the "Patriot Front" is marching around, blocking traffic.

-- Today is the big annual Right to Life march in DC, which means these assholes all come to town in big, white, rented vans which they park all over hell and back. These assholes are not content to march, wave their signs, and go home. Oh, no -- now they stop people on the street to proselytize them. Now two of these vans are parked in front of her place, taking up all the parking spaces. (Would be a real shame if someone called the DC police and reported a possible firearm in one of the vans.)

This "March for Life" shit happens every year. All of the anti-abortion people get together and say how they want to 100% ban abortion in the US. Since Cankles got elected, the Patriot Front and other neo-N@zi groups have been joining in.

Yeah, hey, let's ban abortion! Bleeding out from a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy is God's will!
