ICE is operating on terror yet look at where they deploy. Smaller cities Minneapolis or Portland Maine all for optics to try and appear strong.
In Philadelphia or New York they do hold a presence in these cities and yet no major operations because they do not have the people.

3. And cruelty. The story of Maher Tarabishi and his son Wael, from @joshrogin this morning

Maher Tarabishi, age 62, was taken by ICE last October when he exited his immigration check-in appointment in Texas. He was the primary caregiver for his 30 year old son Wael, who suffers from a chronic muscular condition called Pompe disease. His father provided 24 hour care for many years.

Wael died today, his family told me. Wael’s heath had been declining ever since his father’s detention. He never got to say goodbye to his father. Maher will never see his son again.

Maher came to the United States in 1994. He is not a criminal. He paid taxes. He raised a family. He was attending his immigration check ins reliably. Now that family is destroyed. For what?

4. It's a set up. How are they getting away with arresting people at appts to fulfill requirements?

How will we ever make it up to the people who have been terrorized? This is probably the shame the US deserves. We are losing our standing and respect in the world because it was never true that everyone in America is equal and enjoyed total freedom. I hope we do better if we ever get through this age of ugliness.
It doesn't help to have a well armed militia if the government uses it against it's own citizens.
