Looks like there were 4 or 5 ICE agents wrestling the guy to the ground, then one of them shot him.

That stretch of Nicollet Ave. is called "Eat Street" because it's several blocks of small, mostly ethnic restaurants and coffee shops where a lot of immigrants would be working.

There's one guy on the ground with a number of ICE agents trying to restrain him. There's a gunshot, and all the ICE agents back away. After they do so, another ICE agent pumps several bullets into the guy's body as he lies motionless on the ground, from about six feet away.

Looks like a straight up execution.

Edited to add, after watching it again it sounded like one gunshot, after which they all back away, then an additional 11 gunshots as he was lying on the ground.

And it looks like the agent kneeling on the left pulls from his right hip then points his arm forward before the first bang. His right arm and shoulder jerk back with the bang. Then they all back away.

So it currently appears that agent fired the first shot they all backed away from.

Then they just went to town.

I'm not sure if it's been confirmed that he died. He was taken to hospital. From the number of gunshots it sounds like he was shot 12 times in total.

Edited to add: Tim Walz just confirmed that the man who was shot has died, per MS NOW.

According to people who have seen videos that I have nor seen yer, he had a holstered gun that the ICE thugs they took away from him before they shot him. According to the DHS, he drew his gun on the agents and they were forced to shoot him in self defense. From what I can make out on the video, one of the agents was pistol whipping him and that gun went off accidentally so a couple other agents freaked out and unloaded their weapons into him while he was laying on the ground.

"Deploy the guard" is a meaningful suggestion; I presume you mean "to arrest the ICE/CBP/etc. people when they make unlawful arrests/home invasions". The question of what use of force against ICE will be wise is a more complicated one than a simplistic urging to "shit or get off the pot" says.

Looks like they were beating him to to death, with one of the agents clearly using a gun to beat the guy in the head with it. Then one of their guns discharged, maybe the idiot who was using his gun like a brass knuckle.

Looks like when one of the agent’s guns discharged, that spooked the rest and they ran off from the immediately limp body. Apparently then one of them got the bright idea to then make sure the guy was dead by filling his body with bullets. This is one of the sickest things I have ever seen.

Like Rodney King, but they shot the guy in addition to beating him.

People can protest all they want but they can't defend themselves against the illegal actions of ICE. We need the state to protect its citizens.

All of the ICE agents on the scene should be arrested for murder. If I'm committing a crime with someone else and they kill someone, I'm also guilty of murder. Every ICE thug on the scene is guilty of murder.
