CNN says the victim was a white male, age 37.

DHS claims he was armed and has posted pictures of the alleged handgun. I am not prepared to believe anything that comes from DHS; I wouldn't be surprised if it was planted after the fact. It would be unusual for a protestor or an observer to be carrying a gun, whether or not he had a permit. We still don't know what the victim was doing before the ICE goons took him down. It's all pretty sketchy. And once again, DHS tried to keep MPD from investigating.

After immigration agents fatally shot a man in Minneapolis on Saturday, federal officials attempted to prevent local police from accessing the scene, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara told CNN. O’Hara told his officers to remain on site as part of standard protocol to preserve evidence after a shooting.

Right along with touch-my-hand and leaving a cell door ajar.

This escalation has been totally predictable and sickening.

It is a SIG P320 very popular among concealed carriers. According to the markings it is from the custom shop where one can choose the firearm and have details such as colors, the grip and other mostly cosmetic items adjusted to the buyers specifications.
It also has a reflex site which is popular because users say it allows them to acquire site on a target quicker.

And the other hand, and this is a very interesting hand, the SIG P320 is an authorized side arm of ICE

Between 2017 and 2018, before ICE approved the P320 for service, the agency experienced seven unintentional discharges, resulting in one injury, according to the report. ICE added the P320 to its arsenal in 2019. After 18 months, a dozen officers had reported unintentional discharges with the weapon, resulting in seven injuries. Most of the incidents took place at shooting ranges, but at least one happened in the field, the report said.

If one were prone to speculation, one could suggest that one of the ICEholes carrying that Sig had an accidental disharge spooking the rest of the thugs into unloading into the man they were trying to detain.

That's the charitable version. They could have also just murdered him for no reason at all.

That's where their bullshit will self-destruct. Of course, the answer requires investigation, so investigation naturally becomes the next point of stonewalling. Here's where "only the federales can investigate crimes by the federales" comes into play.

If they can do it, you can bet your sweet bippy these out-of-control shock troops would consider the same.

Cops have used them since time immemorial, guns planted at the scene to frame someone or justify a shooting.

Only if you're a liberal protester? If you're a Western Lands sovereign citizen type you can train sniper rifles at federal officials with no consequence?
