For the sake of argument , I will accept that at this moment , because it gives us three scenarios:

1 the man approached them with a gun in his hand, my question is, why did you start wrestling him? I would draw my own weapon in the face of such a threat

2 he had the gun openly carried in the holster. Question: Open carry is legal in Minnesota, with a permit. Why are you aggressively attempting to disarm him rather than getting his ID and permit

3 He was carrying the gun concealed. In that case how did they know he had a gun?
