He's not going to resign, everyone knows that, demanding that he does makes one look clueless about who he is, or knowingly impotent. Neither make the speaker look good. There are innumerable things to do or say which don't suffer from the same malady which that specific talking point does.

Why can't MN State Police arrest the jackboot thugs?
