court orders from federal judges mean nothing to them

Laws passed by Congress mean nothing. Epstein files anyone?

we now live in a lawless nation where only the "law of the jungle" applies.

The only thing that deters Trump and his minions is Wall Street... and then only a little bit.

TACO was given to him by Wall Street after he chickened out on tariffs... he chickened out on Greenland...

So... nation wide general strike. and also a complete shutdown of commerce... don't buy anything. Wall street will panic... it might be the only way to stop Trump

And I don't mean Schumer.

I mean the idiots who supported Trump like Rogan - if they speak out forcefully against Trump, this part will end.

...and the government is in a hyper defensive mode that is essentially at war with anyone in the country they decide is in their way.

But look at what they did immediately after the murder, declaring that both the governor and mayor who were doing nothing but counsel people to stay away from the scene and encouraging calm, were 'inciting violence.'

You've read the books, you know what's happening. It's an attempted coup of the United States, an attempted takeover of the states.

The courts have no actual enforcement arm, and can be ignored by an administration and president that insists HE is the law, not the courts.

National strike is likely coming. That's not a solution, in and of itself. It would be a national reaction that would hope to influence the republicans allowing this abomination of democracy and humanity to do SOMETHING to defend the American people.

The WH will use that as pretext to invoke the Insurrection Act provisions to cover for more militarism against the citizenry. But I tend to think that the National Guard, which opeates under rules and is disciplined, trained, and experienced - and even the regular armed forces -would be more protection to the people in the streets at this point that an arm of the white supremacist thugs that dominate the ICE forces.

It's anyone's guess where this ends, with months before we vote in the midterms. But this is still a republican assault on America, not just Trumps. That's where we should exert pressure, as well as in the courts.

I'll bet they'll be shitting themselves when they see the crowds taking to the streets, and I'm convinced they're coming in record numbers.

The thing that concerns me is that revolutions sound populist, and this one certainly portends to be a righteous one, but they are in essence insurrections against the government, and can either spin out of control, or be demagogued by the autocratic regime to justify their crackdown.

You have to think, listening to them, that's exactly what they're trying to foment and exploit.
