tv on the Bozo the Clown show in Boston. I was so excited when my brother and sister saw me.
Over time, I had been interviewed, had a program on a local station discussing odd carpentry tools, and even in high school, as Mr. Vocabulary Man, had a show.
The television cameras are ubiquitous and many of us accept facial recognition leaving and returning to a cruise.
We all have phone recorders and demand police have recorders.
Perp walks and security cameras generally cause people to shield their visages as they indicate people having been in suspect situations.
Today's event was prompted by a photographer/watcher that challenged ICE being exposed for not following protocol or even the law.
My question, since we are all familiar with recording and being recorded, if ICE is following the Constitution, why do they hide their faces and eschew being recorded?
They should be proud of upholding the law, no?
I hear the DHS people brandishing their law credentials every day.
Haven't heard a reporter calling this out.

What level of fear must be invoked in them to cause them to abandon the mission?
When is the money and the adrenaline no longer worth the risk?

(3,710 posts)always. Suspect their innocence, financial lure and excitement to lord over the least of their brethren as a salve until reality hits home.
I've envied Dostoevsky's ability to examine the psyche of disparate madness in his characters.
Trying to insert myself into the egos of these ICE men. That they get so pumped to assault any provocation is a tell. Saw a few chase after a protester who launched back at them a can of some gas.
Suspect many of these guys have self esteem issues and a self deprecating vengeance that needs relief. This is their opportunity.
Can't imagine someone who has failed and come back would want to join this crowd.
Today, in itself, is an expose of the difficulties our modern world has come home to roost.
Power is the pursuit of capitalists. Harmony the goal of humanist.
Examination of conscience has lost the confessional.
