Remember how the media pronounced the end
of the Cold War when the Iron Curtain dissolved and the Berlin Wall came down? Remember how they said the Soviet Union was dead? Such ignorance parading as information. Everybody with an ounce of sense has always known that Russia was the party calling the shots in the Cold War/Soviet Union days and the goals of Russia/Putin during that time did not change or end.
It has always been about weakening Europe/NATO in order to facilitate expansion and criminality. It has always been about weakening the US ties to Europe/NATO. It has always been about creating chaos in the US and elsewhere.
So for both terms of Crumb The 1st he has acted to bend the knee to Putin at every turn. It is the slow surrender of the US to Russia in the Cold War that never ended despite the media claims. Some might say the seizure of the shadow Russian oil tanker and its' cargo proves the opposite. It proves nothing of the kind since the financial proceeds of that capture are being placed in foreign banks outside the sanctions, control and required reporting of US banks. That money can be "allowed" to Putin in a way even more flexible for him than just having the crude in port.
But big media rarely if ever admits its' mistakes and genuinely makes corrective turns. They didn't in their cheer-leading the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, the whitewashing of the known bad history of Crumb The 1st in 2016, the enormous free exposure they gave him while mostly ignoring the Hillary campaign etc. They never reflected enough on their own culpability for families being separated at the border en masse because of their decades of shallow reporting on the issue of immigration at our southern border. It was all "too much in depth" for them to examine our government's history in Latin America and our open suppression of the people there in favor of strong man dictators who would be friendly to our corporations.
So here we are in 2026 and big media is in the mode of bending the knee even more as people are rounded up, beaten and killed on the streets of our communities. They won't report the surrender to Putin in a straight way either. The journalism we once knew has died for the most part and what is left are smaller operations like Pro Publica etc. fighting the good fight and reporting to a much smaller audience than what the big media enjoys.
We had the first term of Crumb The 1st because the media didn't stick to the truth. We then had the normalizing of what he did in that term and the "both sides" nonsense masquerading as impartiality. After that term the media managed to instantly lose its' "quest" for impartiality and began to hammer the "Dems in disarray" and "Biden can't lead" nonsense which eventually culminated in the disgraceful "Joe is old" obsession every single day.
At one point in our history big journalism was there for us. Now for the last decades it has been a weak stenographer of the slow and steady US surrender in the Cold War by a man with no morals or soul to another man with no morals or soul all while covering the deed with a veil of supposed integrity.
