I hadn't seen the full letter earlier, just part of it.

Murphy might have assumed that ICE would leave if the conditions were met, but that isn't promised.

don't turn them over. Walz directly controls the highway patrol, and can order them to roadblock all highways entering MN (by any means necessary, using huge garbage trucks, semis and other heavy tank-like vehicles. Walz can order the Nat'l Guard at all airports to turn the planes around make sure no ICE touch foot on MN soil, and if they do, they're arrested with bench warrants by local police.

He can also have the courts rule that she pay for all ICE damages before he turns over any voter databases, and once he gets the money, she gets nada. What can she do. The DOJ has no constitutional right to states' data, anyway.
