If I were just directly pepper sprayed in my face, somehow I doubt that I could calmly cooperate

with a gang of men who were aggressively shoving me down into the street.I don't think I could even comprehend any orders shouted to me in that instant, let alone passively comply with them. Yet they say he was "violently resisting."

It's a small point to make regarding a horrific murder, But every time I hear the claim made that Alex was violently resisting I instinctively think about how my body would have reflexively reacted to that type of assault.

Hit somebody in the head, they’re gonna be mad and try to hit you back. That’s just basic human principles.

Standing peacefully and getting hit at 2” is different than getting hit from 5 feet while breathing it in heavily and having your pores all dilated. The more it rubs in, when you wrestle, the more it burns, too. Worst is when the sweat from your hair/head runs down your face with a fresh dose 20 minutes after you think you’re on the mend.
