You didn’t pull the trigger. You paid the salary of the person(s) who did—in my name! What does that make me? What does that make you? I’m asking you to vote no on the appropriations bill headed your way if it includes more funding for the lawless ICE. I’d rather the government shutdown than to further enable a force of ruthless, murderous thugs.
I wrote this yesterday:
Keep supporting President Pedo. Your continued support allows us to witness the suicide of the Republican party. Today we are seeing ICE thugs detaining children—CHILDREN—which merely reinforces this statement and crushes your political reputation: GOP policies are anti-child. They don't care about providing lunches in school for children who can't afford to eat. They don't care about the slaughter of children in schools by mentally ill people with easy access to high powered weaponry. They don't care about children -- who were brought into the country legally -- being rounded up by masked men with guns and held in detention facilities. They don't care about children being teargassed on the way home from school, or even in school. They don't care about children dying of malnutrition after USAID was abolished. And they don't care about vaccinating children to prevent them from dying or being paralyzed by preventable diseases. This is your legacy. This is the result of your unqualified support of a cruel, criminal and malignant president. We will remember. RIP.
