(4,514 posts)They hang on the perimeters of universities and business establishments. We continue to march and speak out. Life in a red state is not easy for anyone either. For one thing the politicians are pocket lining heartless Joes! That being said our hearts are with Minnesotans and we hold vigils in these dark times as well. Calling House and Senators to tell them to hold the line on Ice funding.

(26,114 posts)And our reps not deciding to do anything? Perhaps they're right, that they truly don't have power to do anything, but I don't know, I just don't think it's 100% open and shut as that statement implies.
By now, I'll jump out w/ a prediction that ICE is going to have a clash, a more substantial clash before too long, as tRUMP and motormouth Stephen Miller keep pushing the boundaries of what is legitimate ICE actions into the realm of illegality. At that point in time, it'll be somwhat like Kent State or more than likely, worse. the temperatures have been rising for a while.
