in their official uniforms? You know our greatest generation that fought for our country and our democracy.
I'm wondering how these ICE goons would respond to that.
Seems to me it would send a meaningful and powerful message and make a profound statement.
Think of the signs they could display to these goons.
What do you think?

(12,069 posts)If a soldier was 18 in 1945, he would be 98 today. Not many of them left.

(1,180 posts)are now near 100 years old. The Korean war vets are up there too.
Heck, even the Nam vets are in their 70s and 80s. I would do that but not in single digit weather.
Wait till summer.

(26,454 posts)In general (Korea/Nam/Afghan, etc) a showing of our real patriots that fought for our country.
Shame those ICE GOONS with real patriots!!!
Can you imagine the Public outcry if ICE tried to lay a hand on any of these Vets?

(150,765 posts)Frankly, they're not supposed to do that. Wearing the uniform is reserved for active duty military. Wearing your old uniform to things like this can get you in serious trouble, so I do not suggest that anyone do that. It is against the law, literally.
Wear veteran gear instead. But not active duty uniforms with insignia on them.
