A federal judge in Minnesota declined to rule Monday on a request from state officials for an immediate halt to the Trump administration’s mass deployment of federal immigration officers to the Minneapolis area.

U.S. District Judge Katherine Menendez, a Biden appointee, expressed concern over the administration’s justification for the deployment in a court hearing Monday. The operation has resulted in the killing of two American citizens by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis in recent weeks.

On Saturday, U.S. immigration agents fatally shot 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti in Minneapolis, leading to clashes between protesters and officers near the scene of the killing. Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, was shot to death by an ICE officer blocks from her Minneapolis home on Jan. 7.

A Department of Homeland Security official told MS NOW on Monday that investigators are “currently reviewing” body camera footage from multiple angles taken at the time Pretti was shot to death.

Could this judge be waiting to see if these federal terrorists allow the State in Minnesota to do the investigation. bluestarone 22 hrs ago #3

The story only said more time was needed for a decision.

"“The President also agreed to look into reducing the number of federal agents in Minnesota and working with the state in a more coordinated fashion on immigration enforcement regarding violent criminals,” a spokesperson for Walz said." I have not seen a single violent criminal on video since this operation began nationwide. The Gov shouldn't have much to worry about in that regard.
