And it recounted the numerous stories that Hersh covered, including the horrors like My Lai and Abu Graib that were commited by U.S. armed forces in our name, and excused by government officials. Then I got to thinking: Anybody who says that what the thugs ICE have done in Minnesota is an anomaly, need only look back at our history. The only difference is that it's on U.S. soil and some of the targets are American.

(6,756 posts)Nobody is ever held accountable, save a few lower level perpetrators. We dont seem to learn that accountability is vital to showing the thugs at all levels that theyll face justice.
