ICE shatters truck window while arresting man in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A video obtained by 13 News captured ICE breaking the window of a man’s vehicle before arresting him on Tucson’s south side Sunday, Jan. 18.

Tucson Rapid Response volunteer Steven Davis recorded the video when he saw ICE agents approach a man who had just finished buying groceries at a local store.

The video, which can be watched below, shows someone from ICE smashing the window of a truck they were following. They then take the man out of his vehicle and put him into theirs.

“I never thought that things could be like this in this country, and it breaks my heart,” Davis told 13 News.

Fourth Amendment

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Violating civil rights under color of law is a crime. Why aren't city and state law enforcement getting warrants to arrest these people?
