My phone carrier's customer service agent based in the Philippines just told me she is praying for all of us in the U.S.

This lady was brilliant. She totally went above and beyond to answer all my questions regarding porting out my phone service to another carrier. At the end of the call, I asked where she was physically based out of. She said she was in the Philippines. I profusely thanked her for her assistance. After which, she said she very much appreciated the thanks - Since quite a few of her customers aren't very nice. At that point, I felt inclined to say to her "Don't take it personally. There's a lot going on in the United States right now to make folks here quite angry." Her response blew me away. She said that a few days ago, she was speaking with a customer who began crying during the call because a riot had broken out just outside her front door. Wrapping up the call, this customer service agent said she was praying for all of us here in the U.S.

The world is very much aware of what is happening here in the United States. People living in countries dismissively passed off by Trump as "shithole nations" are fearful of what we here in the United States are now facing. Let that sink in.
