We've must move on with a postive agenda when we take back power.
This has been an attitude of Democrats that has only emboldened Republican over time. Here a just a few examples:
* The Nixon campaign committed treason by killing the Paris Peace talk in 1968 by offering South Vietnam a better deal.
* Relatively speaking, Watergate officials were lightly punished
* In 1980 the Reagan campaign did the same as Nixon in 1968 by cutting a deal to keep the hostsges in Iran until after the election
* Iran/Contra criminals went virtually unpunished
* Bush and Cheney lied us into war and weren't even subjected to testify under oath, let alone punished
* Karl Rove was allowed to blow off his Congressional subpoena with zero consequences
* Trump: Volumes will be written about the staggring amount of crimes and treasonous acts.
We can do two things at once: a positive progressive agenda and holding Republicans criminally responsible.
I feel we should have televised American Nuremberg-like trials with the purpose of not merely punishing the guilty, but to say NEVER AGAIN!
