We need justice for the victims of ICE

The crimes of ICE cannot go unpunished. And not just the shootings, but every single crime needs to be documented so it can be pursued. They blinded a boy the other day, they blew a lady's hand off this week. Every assault, every unlawful detainment, every theft of phone and property, every broken door or car window. The hospitals have seen hundreds of assault victims. There are hundreds of thefts of phones. People are being maimed, people are being disfigured, people are being terrorized.

We will have no peace in this country until all of these crimes are pursued.

ICE has no more legal authority to deploy pepper spray on bystanders than you or I do, that is a crime. ICE has no legal authority to make traffic stops absent a warrant to arrest someone in the car. They have no legal authority, no matter what some memo says, to enter any home without a warrant. They have no authority to confiscate your phone. All of these are crimes.

I want the next Dem candidate to address these crimes, pledge to create an agency to investigate every crime committed by ICE and prosecute these animals to the fullest extent of the law. The beatings, the sex assaults, the torture that is going on in detention facilities cannot just be forgotten. We cannot move on as a country without justice!

But people will not forget, the nation will not heal until there is justice for these crimes. I want this stuff to be investigated for however long it takes. This group of thugs has terrorized thousands and thousands of innocent men, women, and children. We cannot move on, ever!

I'd be willing to bet that DHS moved the shooters out of state so they couldn't be arrested by state or local police. It's doubtful that any federal agency will investigate the crimes, at least not right now. If there's any justice done in these cases, it probably won't happen until years down the road.

They're keeping these officers identities secret so they can commit crimes with impunity. Luckily there is a ton of film, and I think this will take years to come to fruition.

But I want to see it be part of the Democratic candidate for president's platform. Justice for the victims of ICE's brutality and crimes!

I can't imagine what those families are going through. They must be beside themselves. I hope they see justice in these cases before they die.
