Not exactly a major moment of insight, but I'm watching and hearing the ignorance, the unrepentant racism, the uncompromising corruption of Harvey Korman's "Hedley Lamaar," and thinking "Is this a documentary about the Trump years?"

And Mel himself as "Governor Lepetomaine," a complete, carnal idiot, handing out ping pong paddles "in lieu of pay"...

There are SO MANY parallels that can be drawn to the whole "Trump experience."
