“A flurry of posts from the White House, Department of Labor and Department of Homeland Security have included images, slogans and even a song used by the white nationalist right.

The posts have referred to neo-Nazi literature, ethnic cleansing and QAnon conspiracies, . . .

. . . mused about deporting nearly a third of the U.S. population, and promoted lyrics from an anthem bellowed by the far-right militants of the Proud Boys.

Their authors are not on society’s fringe. They are in the offices of the White House and the departments of Homeland Security and Labor, using official government accounts.

MAGAs get indignant when you note that they are racist, anti-Semitic, misogynistic, homophobic, un-Christian, fact-denying, fascists … but those are the same messages the Trump administration peddles at taxpayer expense on official government accounts to connect with its base.

Let’s face it, MAGA is big on bigotry and if you’re not 100% on board with their hate then you’re a traitor to the cause …



...just look at Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, and Thom Tillis who find themselves outcasts from their own klan.

For most of my life, I wondered how the German people could succumb to the evil of Hitler and his Nazi movement. Well, I’ve lived long enough to know the answer … the same way we did.

We know what it took for Germany to break free from the spell. Hopefully, our escape from evil’s embrace will be less traumatic.
