notes from the surveillance state-

ok, this is extremely weird. i just ordered my mom’s death certificate from dupage co, il, which uses something called vital check. in order to prove my identity, they ask some questions.
1 was- which of these ppl have u been associated w, and they give 4 choices.
the only 1 i knew is my ex-husband’s current wife.
where the heck did they get that info? i have no official connection w her. not even fb friends.

they also asked about cities i was ‘associated w’. have only lived in 2. chicago and my hometown of aurora, il. that wasnt a choice. but the town my ex now lives in was.
jeebus. what else do they know about me?

Called by some scammer who tried to threaten me with calling my ex-bil and used my maiden name. Since they said they were authorities in the next state over, I went to the police in my town and they said they even received a threatening call from, likely, the same scammers. They did call my sister, whose ex they named. She was sure it was a scam since they used my maiden name... had been divorced for over 30 years but never took maiden name back.

their mistake, but i blew it off and it got sent to collections. even b4 that, i was getting phone calls from ppl claiming they cd fix that. my daughter said she’s gotten them to, and she has no issues.

but since doge, i get at least 1 call a day. exact same statements. my phone doesnt pick up those calls, so i get the voicemail. over, and over, and over. they never id themselves. claim i have other issues.
it’s ridiculous.

A federal employee for a few agencies, after OPM got hacked I got calls all the time about my student loans, my taxes and some kind of judgements against me, they never ID'd themselves but always had an 800 phone # for me to call back.

I am sure that was all from the OPM hack, now after leonskum and friends rummaged through all our personal info,I have been getting them again but I just open the line but make no sound and they go away, I block the number following the incident. The other thing I do is mimic a robotic sounding voice and just slowly start reciting single syllable number names, two... six... three... five... eight... which is about when they hang up. Then I block the number.

So far, they quit after a day or two. Some call back but I only know about it when I look to see my 'recent' calls and a blocked call attempt shows up.

I don't owe anybody anything so there's no reason for anyone to call me about money I allegedly owe someone.

The companies affiliated with Thiel cough Musk end up with your Social Security data and sell all the various particulars, parts, connections and probabilities.

Excerpt from "The Private Companies Building a Police State"

The data broker industry was built to sell personal information to advertisers, but now any police department can purchase access to a database like LexisNexis’ Accurint, which contains cell phone numbers, banking history, property records, location history, utility bills, and much more.

They not only screw us with what they know about who we know -- they can figure out what we know.

That A.I. it will be something.

but it does occur to me that she’s a retired cop, so that might add to her data.
