A multi 43 vehicle pileup Tuesday morning east of Bakersfield Ca.

I was in the area today heading to Henderson Nv to pick up my next load. Foggy conditions were very bad in many areas from the time I left Stockton down to Bakersfield. I took a route around the mess. The accident happened on Hwy CA 58 just west of Hwy CA 223. A main thoroughfare between Bakersfield and Barstow. Several injured, but no fatalities were reported. The highway was still closed as a little while ago.

I can’t believe all the massive pile ups that have happened over the past several years. Just since the first of this year there has been way too many!

I guess I’m lucky enough to miss these accidents.

Please be careful out there, it’s the other driver that you have to watch out!

Tule fog. It's incredibly hazardous. You head into a fog bank and before you know it you can't see the end of the hood of your car.
Stay safe!

But wait—no fatalities? Nope, definitely not Germany. People here do not slow down for minor inconveniences such as zero visibility fog, stretches of black ice on the road, or pile-ups of cars on the road ahead.

more skilled than Americans. I don't know why I assumed that. Maybe it is due to the Autobahn and its success as a major freeway despite no speed limits.

"Despite high speeds, the Autobahn is very safe, with a 2019 fatality rate of 1.6 deaths per billion kilometers. This is due to strict, training-intensive, licensing, superior, road maintenance, and, strict lane, discipline".
