I was in the area today heading to Henderson Nv to pick up my next load. Foggy conditions were very bad in many areas from the time I left Stockton down to Bakersfield. I took a route around the mess. The accident happened on Hwy CA 58 just west of Hwy CA 223. A main thoroughfare between Bakersfield and Barstow. Several injured, but no fatalities were reported. The highway was still closed as a little while ago.
I cant believe all the massive pile ups that have happened over the past several years. Just since the first of this year there has been way too many!
I guess Im lucky enough to miss these accidents.
Please be careful out there, its the other driver that you have to watch out!

(5,167 posts)Tule fog. It's incredibly hazardous. You head into a fog bank and before you know it you can't see the end of the hood of your car.
Stay safe!

"Despite high speeds, the Autobahn is very safe, with a 2019 fatality rate of 1.6 deaths per billion kilometers. This is due to strict, training-intensive, licensing, superior, road maintenance, and, strict lane, discipline".
