Trump at minus 40% net approval among Indies (27% to 67%)

President Trump’s support from independent voters dropped to a new low across both terms in office, according to the latest Economist/YouGov poll.

The survey, conducted over the weekend, shows Trump’s net job approval among independents at negative 40 percentage points, with 27 percent approving and 67 percent disapproving.

That marks a significant drop from the previous week, when Trump’s net approval was negative 31 percentage points among independents, and from earlier this month, when it stood at negative 28 percentage points.

The survey, conducted Jan. 23-26, included 1,684 citizens and had a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

aka Republican voters, who are about 27% of registered. His disapproval is in the 70s%.
