(25,847 posts)Bruce Springsteen has earned with his talent and hard work while never forgetting where he came from. Honest, compassionate and generous are ideals foreign to TSF

(4,565 posts)I mean for anything he's done since about the late 80's, that I've heard on the radio...
of course his classics still get played on oldies and classic rock radio stations,
but I don't think I've heard any of his new songs on the radio since the late 1980's.
I hope this song breaks through big, as it seems to be doing!!
Lest we forget, he also took a musical stand against W. Bush's IRAQ War,
a song I thought should have gotten more airplay---
echoing John Kerry's words about the Vietnam war,
'who wants to be the last to die for a mistake?'
