With the Don Lemon arrest, Trump gets to re-live his cherished Central Park Five fantasy
I don't think I need to explain the backstory to DU, but for anyone asking "HUH?", Trump took out a full page ad in the New York Times, calling for the death penalty for the "Central Park FIve."
Problem was, THEY WERE INNOCENT. Trump never apologized or withdrew his call for their deaths.
( In 1989, five young African-American and Latino teenagers were wrongfully accused, convicted, and imprisoned for the brutal assault and rape of a white female jogger in New York City’s Central Park. )
