America is the frog in the pot...

There is an old analogy about putting a frog in a pot of water and slowly turning up the heat until the frog is boiled to death. The frog was unaware of his surrounding doom because it was done gradually, step by step.

Is America now in that pot of water? Step by step, the regime turns up the heat. They invade Venezuela and capture their leader. They stand before our allies in Switzerland and vilify them and threaten to invade their sovereign territories. They send their private armies into our cities to harass and intimidate our citizens. They murder them in cold blood. They hide the evidence. They raid an election warehouse, where all the ballots from recent elections are stored, and confiscate them. Then, last night, they arrest a couple of journalists.

Do you feel the water warming up just a little?
