Someone commented that the proceeds from the Melania movie were going to veterans; mocking the movie flop meant mocking veterans.

The budget for the Veterans Administration is well over $300 billion. That doesn't include the hundreds of billions of other money not specifically earmarked for veterans but which disproportionately helps veterans such as SNAP.

The production costs of Melania came close to $100 million when considering the boondoggle of buying the rights from a Trump Production company for $40 million.

The average gross of all movies in a given year runs about $10 million. The net proceeds of Avatar, the highest grossing movie of all time wouldn't even move the needle a single percentage point.

There was never going to be any money going to veterans.
