Texas U.S. House seat in a special election Saturday that will narrow Republicans' already-slim majority, telling President Trump that the Democratic district "topples corrupt presidencies." Menifee, the Harris County attorney, prevailed in a runoff against Amanda Edwards, a former Houston City Council member. He will replace the late Rep. Sylvester Turner, a former Houston mayor, who died in March 2025.

like in 32. I was in Georgia when Governor Barnes… last Democratic governor. It was said he tossed constuents out of the big tent. Like at the GOP… tossed out kids with student loans, tossed out Hispanics, tossed out folks who need health care, tossed out their own voters who depended on Medicaid. Cut meals on wheels…. the list is endless and are allowing a dangerously unfit president to remain president. They will never be trusted again. The Reoublicans are allowing ICE to muder Americans and others. And I have no doubt many have died in ICE facilities also known as concentration camps.
