Trump says latest release of Epstein files absolves him
President Trump told reporters Saturday that the latest release of the documents related to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein absolves him of any wrongdoing.
I was told by some very important people that not only does it absolve me, its the opposite of what people were hoping, you know, the radical left, Trump told reporters in his first public comments since the latest release of the files.

So far all Ive seen are inconsequential recaps of known prominent peoples contacts with Epstein, a few with stock shots of them.
The juicy, salacious, or even outright incriminating (good luck sifting those out!) images dont get any press time.
If I were a survivor of such horrors I could not be further hurt by such a release, only glad to see I wasnt at the demonstrations of protest for nothing.
If a newsworthy perp saw the real pics out in public, yeah, hed fear moral, financial, reputational ruin of some kind. If there will ever be justice and fair treatment in this matter, I would say dont hold your breath waiting for it under this administration.

(1,854 posts)The Supreme Court has decided that the President (as long as he's named "Trump" ) has the authority now to order anyone in the DOJ (or the entire executive branch, for that matter) to take any action. So if he orders the Attorney General to proclaim his innocence, that's what happens.
