Little Marco on the rise as JD Vance dips below key threshold in 2028 presidential betting

A GOP rival is on the rise while Vice President JD Vance has dipped below an important threshold when it comes to wagering on who will be the Republican Party candidate for president in 2028.

The Kalshi wagering site shows that 18% of those wagering on the race believe that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be the GOP candidate for president in three years.

On Jan. 3, just 11% of those placing bets on the site picked Rubio to be the nominee.

At the same time, 46.7% of those placing bets on the race believe that Vance will be the nominee.

Who cares? They're both losers.

during the cabinet confirmation he was considered one of the only qualified candidates even by the DEMS. Even thou it became ultimately clear that he is POS.

I basically think anyone in the Trump administration is disqualified and anyone in the GOP who has kissed the ring also. But White America will not give up power willingly and in the GOP they are some nasty bastards who know no limits.

But he was a Senator and Senators like to vote to confirm fellow Senators. Exclusive club and all.

Rubio also was at least a conventional pick - placed in the most elite cabinet seat. It could have easily been Rudy Giuliani or Michael Flynn at State.

against the maggot party base who bother to vote---

And YEAH, I also thought him to be one of the ONLY
even REMOTELY qualified cabinet nominees submitted by Trump---

but he has been 'on his knees' ever since....

The Trump coalition withers with him, and takes JD Vance with it.

Rubio is well positioned to be the torchbearer for a neoimperial Republican faction.

Does he win elections? I don't think so, but he is the post-Trump future of the GOP.

but I don't see that happening,
and Vance is polling near fifty percent for the 2028 GQP Pedophile Presidential primary,
while Rubio is in single digits....

(and he SHOULD have anticipated that TRUMP
would eventually decide that CUBAN Immigrants
were 'not valid AMERICANS'! )

I think that Vance is still the heir apparent and heir aspirant, but his uncious demeanor and inauthenticity (I suspect) will prevent him from cobbling together the Trump coalition.

Obviously I have no crystal ball. Rubio has accreted a lot of power as Sec of State and National Security Advisor, and his vision of American power is informing our policy in the global south.

Yeah, he should have. Cubans are in for a tough time. Marco Rubio may well end up Viceroy of Cuba

CLEARLY have NO SPINE!

Even if the SONOFABITCH DIES soon,
those who still bother to vote, will do so
according to his previous directives, which mean VANCE!

(LOGICALLY Rubio might be the 'better candidate',
but those who have pushed Trump in this position
clearly have no political logic AT ALL!)

The racists don't like him because of his wife.
The incels don't like him because he's not manly enough for them
The moderates know he's crazy

And anyone with common sense knows he won't be able to escape Trump's baggage in the GE. He's bordering on unelectable. If Republicans care about electability, they will look elsewhere.
