At this point in "the Game", if I were the New York Times and Trump

sued me for $ 1 Billion, I'd opt to lose $ 1 Billion dollars on legal fees rather than to surrender the same amount to him.

I mean, WTF, I'm going to lose the $ 1 Billion anyway . . . . maybe less if I go to court and sue for frivolous lawsuits after I win in court and get my attorneys fees paid by Trump.

Trump would want the $ 1 Billion in total up front. That's more than a retainer to a law firm.
