Following the release of the latest batch of files from the investigations into sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, Vice President JD Vance is calling out “America’s elites” for their “incestuous nature,” but insists President Donald Trump is distant from those involved.

The Department of Justice released over 3 million files from the criminal investigations into the late financier and convicted sex offender on Friday, Jan. 30, including emails from figures like Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Steve Tisch. The latest release comes after Trump, Bill Clinton and more high-profile celebrities and political figures appeared in previously unsealed files.

Addressing the DOJ’s latest release in a new interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Feb. 3, Vance, 41, said that while the president, 79, has “wealth and power” like many of the individuals cropping up in the files, he is separate from their network.

“President Trump is very much outside of the social circle,” Vance told the Daily Mail. “He knows a lot of these people. He certainly has similar wealth and power. But he never really was friendly with Epstein in a way that a lot of these other people were.”
