Oh yeah, his 'home ownership' vision....lots of cheap money available for refi's, new home loans, etc. Why? Because the rest of the economy was tanking. it was the only thing he could point to in his re-election. It was the Bush administration that loosened up the regulations to make money available....bubbles be damned.
