Lawrence interviewed Prof. Reece Jones, who wrote a NYT op-ed: "The Border Patrol is the Problem: It Always Has Been"

Mr. Jones is the author of “Nobody Is Protected: How the Border Patrol Became the Most Dangerous Police Force in the United States.” He has spent years researching the racist origins of the Border Patrol, its alarming lack of legal constraints, and its ever-growing sphere of operations well beyond the country's borders. (The title of his book is from a Supreme Court hearing -- in 1973.)
