Even if ICE-American Gestapo
is not deployed directly at the polls I do believe they will invoke a "delay" strategy against voters in select areas where races are close. The polls are only open for certain hours and longstanding tactics for voter suppression have been things like causing long lines to discourage people who show up and see the long line and don't have the time to wait because of jobs or other commitments etc.
I believe they will have an active strategy to do a more aggressive approach to limiting the number of people who are able to vote in person during the hours the polls are open. I believe we will see them closing off most of the access streets by setting up operations a few blocks away and claim they are conducting "targeted immigration enforcement operations". This will of course snarl traffic and cause major delays in people being able to get to the polls.
Remember Fort Lee, New Jersey. By the time November rolls around their ranks may swell to over 200,000. They currently more than doubled their ranks in less than a year from approximately 10,000 to over 22,000. The link below shows they have received over 220,000 applications that they are working on. One wonders if the $50,000 bonus went away how many would have applied. There can also be little doubt that making sure they get that bonus plays a part in their willingness to engage in vicious conduct.
So early voting and absentee ballots are going to be even more critical strategies than usual for us moving forward. They will also engage in extremely aggressive moves to attack those ways of voting as well. Limiting hours for early voting, limiting drop boxes, vandalizing drop boxes etc. will be done.
I also believe they have a strategy planned to drag races they lose through very lengthy legal challenges and appeals all the way to the Supreme Court and that waste of skin Mike Johnson will be using that as an excuse not to swear in those new members. I believe the MAGA justices will do everything they can to delay hearing and ruling on those cases.
We may look back at the election of 2020, and possibly 2024, as the last free elections in our country.
