Tim Scott "prays" the Trump "Obamas as apes" video was fake (IT WAS NOT)

WHY does Scott feel the need to "pray" that this is fake? He and Byron Donalds and EVERY OTHER BLACK REPUBLICAN who carried Trump's water and kissed his fat orange ass during the election WALKED AWAY EMPTY HANDED. They received JACK SHIT in return for their groveling and fealty. TRUMP first ran afoul with the law when he and Fred were BUSTED for marking apartment applications from African Americans with a "C" for "COLORED." TRUMP took out a full page ad in the NYT, calling for the execution of the (INNOCENT) Central Park Five. He never retracted his statement or apologized. Exactly WHO is Tim Scott "praying for?"

WCNC Charlotte

President Donald Trump used his social media account to share a video about election conspiracy theories that includes a depiction of former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, as primates in a jungle.

Republican Sen. Tim Scott, who is Black, was among those who criticized the post.

“Praying it was fake because it’s the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House. The President should remove it,” Scott, who chairs Senate Republicans' midterm campaign arm, said on social media.

Did you ever actually think Trump wasn't racist to the bone? What words do you think he uses when he talks about you and your Black colleagues in private? If you're saying that the video is "the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House," aren't you acknowledging that you've already seen some other racist things out of this White House? Are you so gutless that all you can do is pray that the video is fake? If Trump doesn't take it down will you keep supporting him? How can you look at your own Black face in a mirror and keep bending over for that guy?

Other than continue to grovel before Trump?
Other than continue to be a member of a political party that hates him?
Other than continue to support that party as it attempts to make it harder for black people to vote?

No? Nothing? Other than lamely complain?

Then fuck right off, Tim Scott

I don't think there's anything else going on. I'm Caucasian myself, but I have to wonder exactly how an African-American would process a white racist posting an AI video of an African-American president and his wife depicted as apes.

And, when it comes to Tim, it's a matter of saying "that's not right" and then getting back on his knees for his TRUE lord and master.

Senator Scott, where have you been the last ten years?

When Trump descended his escalator to announce his run for president, did you hear his comments about Mexicans and other minorities? Or did you simply ignore them? Have you listened to his vitriolic and hateful screeds over the last ten years? What about his previous lies and insults at President Obama? This latest is nothing new.

Trump has always been a racist bigot, a misogynist and a criminal. Anyone who can't see that is either profoundly stupid or they share Trump's disgusting beliefs.

Senator Scott, do you really think your prayers to an imaginary being will change Trump or his re-post? Are you really just an idiot?

12. MaddowBlog-White House tries to defend Trump amplifying a racist video targeting the Obamas

After Karoline Leavitt tried to defend the latest example of the president’s routine racism, the White House stepped on her dreadful argument.

Trump amplifying another racist video got me thinking about the commitment he made to Black voters in his second inaugural — and how quickly he returned to the kind of gutter racism that helped fuel his political rise in the first place. www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...

https://www.ms.now/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/white-house-tries-to-defend-trump-amplifying-a-racist-video-targeting-the-obamas

In the fall, for example, the Republican used the term “DEI” as a slur for minorities in blaming their involvement with the construction of Barack Obama’s presidential library. Soon after, the president, as part of an ugly anti-immigrant pitch, publicly referred to Somali Americans as “garbage” and revived his “s—hole countries” rhetoric.

The list, alas, continues to grow longer. The Associated Press reported:

President Donald Trump used his social media account to share a video about election conspiracy theories that includes a racist depiction of former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, as primates in a jungle. […]

Nearly all of the 62-second clip, which was among dozens of Truth Social posts from Trump overnight, appears to be from a conservative video alleging deliberate tampering with voting machines in battleground states as the 2020 presidential votes were tallied. At the 60-second mark is a quick scene of two primates, with the Obamas’ smiling faces imposed on them
.

The fact that the Republican president didn’t make the video himself is hardly exculpatory: Trump saw the video and thought it’d be a good to idea to amplify it, just as he did in his first term when he promoted a video of a supporter wearing Trump campaign gear while shouting “white power!”...

Republican Sen. Tim Scott, who is Black, wrote online that he was praying the video “was fake because it’s the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House.” The South Carolinian, who’s currently chairing the National Republican Senatorial Committee, added: “The President should remove it.”....

Complicating matters, a few hours after Leavitt tried to defend the racist video, the White House changed its story, saying in a statement, “A White House staffer erroneously made the post. It has been taken down.”

Evidently, the press secretary’s “fake outrage” line proved unsustainable.

In his second inaugural address, Trump said: “To the Black and Hispanic communities, I want to thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love and trust that you have shown me with your vote. We set records, and I will not forget it. I’ve heard your voices in the campaign, and I look forward to working with you in the years to come.”

Like too many of Trump’s promises, he wasted little time in trashing this commitment and returning to the kind of gutter racism that helped fuel his political rise in the first place.
