The Epstein files fiasco
was unfortunately easily predictable. The idea that a bunch of crooks could be trusted to honestly review and release materials involving their kingpin crook of a boss was doomed from the start. What basically has been happening since they took office is a modified version of the "catch and kill" strategy from the National Enquirer days of David Pecker.
There can be no confidence in anything they say about the files. Not the number of documents, not the process or anything else. So they have spent the year consolidating the files and "reviewing" and one can be sure that the worst of the worst and any real corroborating material has been "removed" or destroyed. Likely the material "removed" was either in response to a payment or for future blackmail use. The destroyed material would be the really, really incriminating stuff on Crumb The 1st. The blackmail material will likely "leave" with Crumb the 1st if he is ousted.
The "oops" of disclosing the info of heretofore undisclosed survivors was not an accident in my opinion. It may well have been "information tips" to some of the men who took part in the rape and abuse of young girls. If we coldly examine that scenario of rich and powerful men coming to rape and abuse the girls and the circumstances of the Epstein "parties" on the island then we have a rich wealthy pervert showing up and the idea that, in the mix of booze and drugs, he cares about the name of the girl or cares to remember is not likely. To these men these girls were nothing but meat to be consumed. They never thought the identity of the girls might matter to them.
The rich and powerful felt they always had deniability and that Epstein had it under control. But then years later the crap hits the fan. So now you are the rich powerful man who knows you were there and what you did. You know you need to shut people up. But who was the girl or girls? Years went by and faces change. But you need to send your investigators to dig dirt on the girl(s) you were with in order to convince them to accept a payoff or if they won't accept a payoff then you need the information to formulate a story of denial for yourself. But how to get an idea of who it was?
Perhaps a rich and powerful person could have a "friend" at DOJ bird dog some names/info that line up with the approximate times you were involved in the rape and abuse of young girls. Maybe you have some vague memory of hair color or first name etc. So if the released material has a lot of "oops" disclosures then you, the wealthy and powerful rapist, now have some more info to feed to your investigators.
Yes I know some people will say what I have written here is fantastical speculation and farfetched. Think back to mid January of last year and how fantastical and farfetched it would have seemed to have masked goons storming major US cities and murdering US citizens in the street. Think of how the rich and powerful have bent the knee and worked to support the madness. Is there really any scenario too far for these crooks? Really?
The Epstein files should have been gathered under Garland and placed under a protective sequestration order by a court and placed under tight control. But that ship sailed. They thought the one who fomented a coup attempt, had lied his whole life, cozied up to Russian oligarchs and whose lawyer/fixer admitted engaging in threatening people who were "problems" wouldn't possibly somehow regain control. They thought even if he did he certainly would be constrained like the first time by the people around him. So the Senate confirmed all the crooks and now here we are.
One of the two major, controlling political parties got deeply in bed with the lust for power at any cost. That included selling out any actual morality while still claiming to have some. So they are comfortable with a crook, liar and rapist as their leader. They are accomplices to the rape and abuse of each and every one of the survivors, their ongoing trauma and the death of Virginia and possibly others whose names and nightmares we don't yet know.

Has anyone asked him whether he ever looked at the Epstein documents? If he had looked, doesn't it seem obvious that he would have done something to preserve the evidence from being destroyed by the next group coming in?
Maybe we're giving him too much credit. Maybe Garland really has been in cahoots with those who are desperate to cover everything up? I don't want to believe that, but this all looks so fishy now....
