several houses, couple yachts. Hungry? Never going to happen. Need an abortion? Bingo! Plane ticket.Security guards, caterers, household help, a nanny, lawyers, drivers, you name it. For this cabinet, the working class folks are props.

(12,287 posts)Since the first use of right and left to describe the parliament members after the French Revolution as either favoring another monarchy or a democracy, right-wing has ALWAYS been associated with some form of plutocracy or oligarchy. Since the early 1900s, fake populism has been used by right-wing demagogues who portray themselves as heros saving the populace from the feared "other" and imaginary "elites," not the real elites who live the grand life, especially those who exploit others to gain wealth, then use wealth to gain political power, and political power to gain more wealth.
